Events of 2023

In 2023 we decided to offer an experience at the Buggy Museum in Stockholm that we did not offer in either 2021 or 2022, due to not having the physical equipment. It was Jim & Eleanor Christenson's idea to begin offering "buggy rides" every Saturday we were open, but we needed a buggy. Toward this end, Jim bought a restorable, original 1900 doctor's buggy & spent part of the winter restoring it.

We began offering buggy rides at our Open House on the 20th of May, powered by a Cub Cadet lawn mower as our "horse."

We quickly added the word "free" when we realized that there was a hesitation by some who could not quite see how such a unique experience could be offered for free.

These buggy rides became so popular that we soon realized that we needed a much quieter "horse," so we purchased a Club Car with additional seating on the back of the machine. We also discovered that grandmothers wanted to ride in the back of the Club Car & take photos of their grandchildren.

We will continue this service for many years to come.
